This mug’s color palette came from my own house. I wanted the mugs to go with the warm terracotta and earthiness of my own house.
I imagined it being the mug I would sip from when I did videos on my YouTube channel or when I had breakfast with my kids on the weekend. Its warm and feminine and very much my vibe and a good gift for all my girlfriends :)
Every mug is wheel thrown, hand painted, and hand glazed by me. They all have the same general shape and color palette, but no two come out exactly alike. The way the glaze moves in the kiln, the brushstrokes, the speckles, and the little variations are all part of what I love about making them. The imperfections in the shape are part of the learning process of a human who is doing something they love and learning. I couldn’t make them identical even if I wanted too. Some are a little lopsided and uneven :)
Each one is signed on the bottom before it heads off to its new home.
