Terazzo Trinket

$55.00

This little flower-shaped trinket dish was inspired by the warm terracotta and earthy colors in my own house. I wanted something feminine and pretty, but still earthy and a little imperfect.

I imagined it sitting on my nightstand or bathroom counter holding my rings and little everyday things. It’s also the kind of thing I would give to one of my girlfriends as a little gift :)

Every dish is handmade, hand painted, and hand glazed by me. They all have the same general flower shape and terrazzo design, but no two come out exactly alike. The way the glaze moves in the kiln, the speckles, the brushstrokes, and all the little variations are part of what I love about making them.

The imperfections in the shape are part of the learning process of a human who is doing something they love and learning. I couldn’t make them identical even if I wanted to. Some are a little lopsided and uneven :)

Each one is signed on the bottom before it heads off to its new home.
